Poems Tireless Worker by Wayne Chen
Let this be a moment of thanks, She is a tireless worker, In good times, At a close distance, Sacrifice for a better life, Loving, caring, protective. Morning to night..... Dr. Mom to chauffeur No role is too great, Thank you mom.
I wrote this poem several
years ago as a token of appreciation to my parents. While my mom will not
be physically here to see the future of my creation, I feel as if she has given
me her greatest gift of all to me. The knowledge of a physical death -- all
the feelings that go with it and a better understanding of it. I feel if
modern society really thought about death, they might seriously re-evaluate why
society is where it is today. And the folly of how we try to live it today.
The Journey into the Future The true journey of life is boundless New worlds to be traveled New ideas to explore, But..... As what is seen in the present A solid foundation you have helped me
build Fear not change, nor distance For a foundation of concrete &
stone, The time has come, Live, watch, and enjoy,
